Stability, Flexibility and Core are importants elements of any prevention or recovery process. To help prevent or to help speed up progress, and avoid re-injury, I highly recommend Iyengar Yoga.

In this comprehensive system, you will get professional guidance in stretching, balancing, and strengthening your neck, shoulders, lower back , and core muscles. We also know that stress is almost always a factor in Chronic pain. Iyengar Yoga will tech you how to connect and listen to your body’s signals to reduce the effects of stress.

The classes address the neck, shoulders, lower back, and core muscles.
What can you expect?
  • Specific alignment of your body (feet, arms, torso, back, neck, bones, muscles) so you not only practice safely but also better absorb the benefits of each pose and store their memory in your body.
  • Use of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps, chairs, walls, etc.) that allow you to better approach, feel, explore, remember, and hold the optimal pose for longer.
  • Precise demonstrations and instructions from the teacher on how to get into the pose, hold it for a period, and come out of it.
  • Sequence of poses covered in your overall progression and more specifically in each class. Poses are taught gradually and safely.
  • Classes are taught by a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
